Memory prices on the rise

Memory prices are rising, but it’s too early to tell if the increases from the rock-bottom levels that memory has sold at are part of a trend or not. Some dealers report that spot prices have increased as much as 40 percent, according to The Register, although the increase doesn’t affect prices dramatically since they’re already so low. With 512MB modules still available in the US$50-$75 range from many resellers, now may be the best time to stock up on RAM.
