Macworld UK notes that Miglia has begun shipping the Alchemy ATA 100 PCI card for Macs. The card allows Macs to take full advantage of ATA/100 drives, which function up to 50 percent faster than the ATA/66 drives that Macs currently ship with. The US$149 card features two channels and requires no drivers.
