[NPL] TrafficReport b28

Advanced Reality Communications, Inc. Announces beta 28 of TrafficReport.

Salt Lake City, UT – September 8, 1998 – Advanced Reality Communications,
Inc. announces the availability of Traffic Report b28, a statistics utility
that processes Internet server logs, for Apple Macintosh and Power
Macintosh.

Traffic Report is a robust tool for creating customized reports of your
Internet server traffic. Statistics can be scheduled on a web server as a
background application or Traffic Report can create html reports off line.

New Features in This Version

You can select between bar or line graphs for use in the HTML and on-screen
reports.

The label width in the horizontal bar graphs is now wider.

Enhanced MS IIS log parser. TrafficReport can now understand MS IIS logs
that are in the extended log format. Users of the extended log format don’t
need to worry about setting up the log structure.

The HTML reports now contain explanation/usage information.

The reports home page name can now be specified (was always index.html).
You can choose a creator code for the HTML report image files.

TrafficReport now remembers the placement of the setting document windows.

TrafficReport Beta 28 *is* compatible with files created with Beta 20
through 27. It is good for 30 days.

Bugs Fixed in This Version

Fixed error #-42 that could appear when reporting on a large number of log
files (typically 400+).

When TrafficReport rejects an invalid log entry for inclusion in a report
its gathered info is now explicitly cleared, rather than relying upon the
next log entry to overwrite this data. This prevents an invalid entry’s
data from corrupting a valid entry’s data.

If the secondary domain report were unselected the secondary domain info
would not be produced, even if there were other selected reports that
needed this info. This problem has been fixed.

As always, you can download the latest version of the program at
