[MD1] Apple posts JFC (Swing) in Mac-friendly format

Mac OS Runtime for Java Bulletin

Apple has just posted the Java Foundation Classes (“Swing”) Early Access
0.7 software to its “Apple & Java” web site at
(http://applejava.apple.com/text/prerelease.html). This software is
identical to the JFC 0.7 software posted at JavaSoft’s site (java.sun.com),
but is packaged and organized in a format that makes it immediately usable
for Macintosh developers. It has also been tweaked slightly to fix a few
minor problems that affected usability on the Macintosh.

JFC 0.7 requires version 2.0 of Mac OS Runtime for Java (MRJ). This
software is posted at http://applejava.apple.com/text/download.html and is
also included with Mac OS 8.1.

Apple thanks its friends at Zero G Software (www.zerog.com) for its hard
work in making this posting possible.
