Macworld Boston ‘will be lucky to elicit a yawn’
Greg Gatlin of the Boston Herald says that while Macworld Expos are usually very exciting, this week’s event in Boston “will be lucky to elicit a yawn.” With Apple absent from the exhibitors list, Macworld’s return to Boston is looking to draw a lot less visitors than what was originally expected. Before Apple pulled out, the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau predicted that the Boston Expo would draw 40,000 attendees and pump US$42 million into the region’s economy.
