The Rogue Valley Mac Expo 2004, produced by the Josephine County Mac User Group will be held on Sunday, June 13 in Grants Pass, Oregon, reports the MUG Center. This year’s event will be highlighted by special presentations of GarageBand by Quincy Carroll and Jess Reys from Apple, and Mike Descher of Adobe on Photoshop and InDesign. The expo will also feature Rob Griffiths, author of Mac OS X Hints, and Erik Rogers of Color IQ.

Apple UK has posted several photos from MacExpo 2003, which is taking place this week in London. “With more than 20,000 attendees expected at Islington’s Business Design Center over the next three days and a mass of iPod advertising lending the local streets a splash of color, this stylish corner of North London has a distinctly Apple flavor this week,” notes the company.

Macworld UK has announced the “Best of Show” winners for this week’s MacExpo in London: Apple’s 20-inch iMac, Adobe’s Creative Suite, Epson’s Stylus Pro 4000, FileMaker’s Meetings and Tasks applications, Griffin’s iShark, HP’s ScanJet 4600, Creo’s Tokens, Microsoft’s Wireless Optical Desktop 2.0 Elite keyboard and mouse, and Disney Interactive’s Finding Nemo.

The organizers of the UK’s MacExpo today released details of a new German event in 2003, which will be held in Cologne from June 23-25. MacExpo Cologne, which will be be staged in Hall 6 at the KoelnMesse, will be “completely dedicated to digital hub solutions for Mac users, especially the pro-users and pro-sumers.
