Logitech today extended its audio product line by unveiling the company’s first speakers designed specifically for laptops — the Logitech V20 laptop speakers. The new speakers are USB powered and require no additional cables and include a collapsible stand on each satellite for maximum portability.

Peripheral maker Logitech, best known for its mice and trackballs, today reported its sixth consecutive year of record sales and profitability, finishing with the best fourth-quarter performance in the Company’s history. For the company’s fourth fiscal quarter, ended March 31, 2004, sales were US$347 million, up 15 percent from $302 million for the same quarter one year ago.

Logitech today introduced a cordless mouse designed for mobile computer users — the Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks. This new addition to the Logitech family of cordless products connects with the PC using an ultra-slim, key-sized USB receiver. Current Logitech products that will be supported on the Macintosh platform include the Logitech MOMO Racing wheel and WingMan Formula Force GP racing wheel, WingMan RumblePad and WingMan Cordless RumblePad gamepads and the WingMan Strike Force 3D and WingMan Force 3D joysticks.
