Apple today released iPhoto 5.0.4, the latest update to its popular digital photo organizational software. According to the release notes, this update “addresses an issue with browsing photos that have been auto-rotated by a camera.” Apple says this update is recommended for all customers using iPhoto 5.0, 5.0.1, 5.0.2 and 5.0.3.

Apple today released iPhoto 5.0.1, an update to its popular digital photo organizational software. According to the release notes, the update “addresses issues with upgrading iPhoto 4 libraries, dragging albums into folders, importing MPEG 4 movies, and also includes a number of other minor fixes.” iPhoto 5.0.1 is available via the Mac OS X Software Update utility. iPhoto 5 was introduced last month at Macworld Expo as part of iLife ’05. Salkever: Apple should release iPhoto for Windows

In his latest BusinessWeek column, Alex Salkever says that now is the time for Apple to release iPhoto for Windows. “Steve Jobs has already proven he can translate his mastery of the intuitive user interface to the PC world with the successful launch of iTunes software for Windows machines,” writes Salkever. “For an encore, Apple should release a version of iPhoto for Windows.
