Handspring has launched a new holiday promotion that offers a US$150 mail-in rebate on its Treo 180 communicators. “Now, for a limited time, when you activate a new T-mobile service plan with select T-mobile Internet (GPRS) services, you’ll receive a Treo 180 communicator for as low as $99 after mail-in rebate.” Customers not interested in GPRS data service can get a $50 mail-in rebate with activation of a new Cingular Wireless or T-Mobile service plan.

Handspring has kicked off a new holiday promotion that offers customers a free Apex DVD player with the purchase of a Treo 90 organizer or Treo 270 or Treo 300 communicator. All three handhelds feature color screens, built-in keyboards, 16MB of memory, as well as the usual suite of Palm OS-based features.
