Apple bumps eMac line to 1.42GHz
In addition to new iMacs today, Apple also quietly rolled out new eMac models. The all-in-one desktop now comes in two models, both with 1.42GHz PowerPC G4 processors. The low-end model, priced at US$799, offers 256MB of RAM, an 80GB hard drive, and a Combo drive. The high-end model, priced at $999, comes with 512MB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, and an 8x double-layer SuperDrive.
