AppMac Software today announced the release of sVideo 2.0, its new bundle of Webcam applications. sVideo Server, the first of the three applications, allows you to share a Webcam or video camera to your network or to the internet. sVideo Monitor allows you to view Webcams shared by sVideo servers. sVideo Community Server helps you create your own community of users of sVideo applications. All of the software works on Mac OS 8/9 and Mac OS X. sVideo Monitor and sVideo Community Server are free, while sVideo Server costs US$59.

AppMac Software today announced sVideo Monitor 1.0, a new utility for videoconferencing with Apple’s iChat or to remotely view a video source over the Web. The software requires a compatible webcam or DV camera, and also allows users to grab pictures or record movies in QuickTime format. sVideo Monitor works with Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar), and is priced at US$59.

AppMac previewing products at Apple Expo

AppMac has announced that it will be showcasing preview versions of two new products at Apple Expo in Paris this week (September 10-14). eKiosk 4.0, a secure Web browser for Mac OS X targeted for kiosks in public spaces, will be available by the end of September. Also shown will be bManager 3.0, a CRM contact manager for Mac OS and Mac OS X — also shipping the end of this month.

AppMac updates sMailing and iWarning

AppMac software has released sMailing 4.5 and iWarning 3.0, the latest updates to the company’s email products. sMailing 4.5 is an application that allows users to send personalized bulk emails. New features include enhanced performance, better HTML management, and vCard format support, among others. sMailing is priced at US$59. iWarning 3.0 is a freeware utility that can monitor several email accounts and alert users of the arrival of new messages.
