Kona SD 2.1 offers Jaguar compatibility
Blackmagic Design, in conjunction with AJA Video, today announced that the Kona SD uncompressed QuickTime video card is now compatible with Mac OS X 10.2. Version 2.1 takes advantage of Quartz Extreme, which is built-in to Jaguar and allows the card to deliver high quality, real time updates during video capture, playback and effects. Kona SD v2.1 costs US$3,295, but is available now to all registered customers at no charge.
