Dell reports third-quarter results
Dell yesterday evening reported a third-quarter profit of US$429 million on revenues of $7.5 billion, a 36 percent year-over-year decline in earnings and 10 percent decline in sales. Dell remains the undisputed PC sales leader, as extremely narrow margins have enabled the company continually steal marketshare away from competitors.
