Lotus today announced that the next version of Lotus Notes, code-named “Rnext,” will offer advanced support for Mac OS X. The company has promised to deliver the “same key capabilities of the Win32 environment” in the Mac OS X client. Version 4 adds improvements to the IDE, enhancements to the EditField, ListBox, Canvas, Shell and multimedia components, external project items, compiled RbScript and more. The Standard Edition of REALbasic 4 is available for US$149.95, while the Professional Edition sells for $349.95.
