SanDisk introduces pocket-size storage device

SanDisk today introduced Cruzer, a pocket-size USB storage device that uses removable and upgradeable flash memory cards for storage. The Cruzer—which measures three inches long, one and three-fourth inches wide and about three-quarters of an inch thick—will accommodate both SD cards and MultiMediaCards. The device requires no extra drivers and is compatible with Mac OS 8.6 and later and Mac OS X.

QPS unveils DVDBurner+RW, M5 Combo and RAID drives, and DVD Dupe Towers

QPS today debuted the Que! DVDBurner+RW, a FireWire DVD+RW drive that will sell for US$650. QPS also introduced the Que! FireWire M5 Combo Drives ($379), which include a combination of CD-RW and hard drive storage, and Que! M5 RAID Drives, which are available with either FireWire (200GB, 240GB and 320GB capacities) or SCSI LVD (72GB and 146GB capacities) connectivity. Pricing for the RAID drives is dependent on configuration. Finally, QPS also announced 2-bay and 5-bay Que! DVD Dupe Towers, which can replicate two or five CD or DVD discs simultaneously.
