San Luis Obispo, CA July 8, 1998. Today Conix Enterprises, Inc. announced
OpenGL Developer Release for Rhapsody. John Stauffer, President, says that
OpenGL for Rhapsody was created in direct response to requests from vendors
who will be porting their applications to the Macintosh platform under
Rhapsody.

Conix OpenGL for Rhapsody supports the complete OpenGL 1.1 and GLU 1.2
APIs. OpenGL is integrated with the YellowBox environment with a new
objective C framework. A port of SGI’s TK library is provided along with
several demos.

OpenGL is the direct descendant of the IRIS Graphics Library invented by
Silicon Graphics in 1982, and is in use in thousands of 3D applications.
OpenGL assists graphics developers in CAD, Mechanical Implementation,
Architectural Design, Medical and Scientific Imaging, Geophysical Sciences,
Animation, Photorealism, Data Visualization, and Simulation.

OpenGL is the premier 2D and 3D graphics library that allows developers to
build geometric models, view models interactively in 3D space, control
color and lighting, manipulate pixels, and perform such tasks as alpha
blending, anti-aliasing, depth cueing and texture mapping.

A free 30 day trail version is avaiable. Please go to
