METROWERKS SHIPS CODEWARRIOR FOR PLAYSTATION DR/2
SAN FRANCISCO, California, Macworld Expo--January 7, 1997--Metrowerks Inc.

software development tools, today announced CodeWarrior(R) for
PlayStation(TM) DR/2, the newest version of its programming tools for
developing games for the PlayStation game console. CodeWarrior for
PlayStation is hosted on Windows(R)95/NT and Mac(TM)OS and is authorized by
Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.
CodeWarrior for PlayStation DR/2 features the full CodeWarrior IDE, a
plug-in CodeWarrior C/C++ compiler for MIPS(R) and a selection of
integrated graphical format converters for managing game development with
the CodeWarrior IDE. Version DR/2 offers programmers much greater
stability in the IDE in addition to class browser support for C/C++ and a
new diagnostic communications tester program called "DebugCommTester".
