Intelli Innovations, Inc. is pleased to announce IntelliMerge 1.2, a
feature-packed update to our popular e-mail merge software. This version
adds direct mailing (no SMTP server required), FileMaker Pro and
AppleScript support, and improved Mac OS X compatibility.
* [New] IntelliMerge now features an integrated direct mailing program. By
“building the mail server” right into the product, using this feature
eliminates bounced messages, automatically flags invalid usernames and
domains, and provides for faster send times on some configurations.
* [New] IntelliMerge is now integrated with FileMaker Pro! Check out the
FileMaker Pro 4 and 5 (includes the new 5.5 for Mac OS X) examples in the
Database Integration folder. With one click, you can pull your FileMaker
records into IntelliMerge, set up a new message, and mail it out.
* [New] IntelliMerge now features three AppleScript functions: Build
Database (from a text file), Configure Message, and Send Message. We’ll be
expanding on these in the future.
* [New] IntelliMerge now looks far more impressive on Mac OS X, including
white-backed list browsers, anti-aliased text, and faster performance.
