Audified has released a bundle of new and improved summing tube processing plug-ins based around its proprietary Summing Tube Amplifier (STA) technology.

The namesake STA (Summing Tube Amplifier) technology that the original and second-generation STA Effects bundle of summing tube processing plug-ins both benefit from uses two signal paths: one being processed by modulation or spectral change while the other remains unprocessed. Those two signals are mixed via vacuum tube circuitry models.

WhatsApp for Photos from Comet is a free iOS app that instantly syncs your photos from your smartphone with your friends and family.

You can keep all your albums in Comet without deleting any of them. Go in the Comet settings -> Cloud albums -> select the album/albums that shouldn’t be stored on your iPhone. That’s it, the album stays on your phone but the photos inside are downloaded (you’ll need an Internet connection to access them).

Kensington (www.kensington.com) says that Kensington SafeGrip Rugged iPad Cases were selected by East Tennessee Children’s Hospital to protect iPads that were donated for children’s use during hospital stays through “Andy’s iPads” program.

The program is based on donations of iPads and accessories from parents and families at Webb Upper School for the purpose of helping kids stay comfortable and engaged when sick or recovering from illnesses or medical procedures. Andy’s iPads was initiated by Julieanne Foy, technology coordinator of Webb Upper School in Knoxville, Tenn.
