As noted by MacRumors, Apple is sending email surveys to some iPhone Duo buyers to get feedback on display size, crease, under-display camera, and other features. Questions include:
° Why did you decide to buy the iPhone Do?
° What do you think about its display size when closed?
° How visible to you find the crease to be?
° Is the under-dis-lay camera distracting?
° What do you think of the foldable’s cameras?
° What would you add or change about the iPhone Duo?
If you’re hoping to buy an iPhone Duo, well, good luck. There’s no timeline for when Apple will catch up to demand for the iPhone Duo, CEO John Ternus has told Reuters (a subscription is required to read the article).
“The ramp is going well, and we’re working hard to get it to as many customers as quickly as possible, but at this point, we’re not able to predict when supply and demand will be in balance,” he said.
Regarding reports of display and hinge issues on the foldable, he told Reuters that “a very small percentage” of units have been returned and Apple is offering replacements.
Shipping estimates from the Apple Store are still set for late January. This has been the case since the first pre-orders immediately sold out on October 16.
