For the ninth year, Apple is celebrating national parks with an Apple Pay donation campaign that will support the National Park Foundation.
From August 22 through August 29, Apple will make a $10 donation to the National Park Foundation for every purchase made with Apple Pay at an Apple Store location, in the Apple Store app, or on apple.com in the U.S. Donations are limited to a maximum of one million dollars ($1,000,000).
Additionally, customers can enjoy special national park themed content collections across Apple Maps, Podcasts, Fitness+, and the App Store – and Apple Watch users around the world can earn a digital limited-edition award on August 24 to celebrate National Parks.
Apple customers have helped support the National Park Foundation’s mission to protect and enhance America’s national parks for present and future generations. As a part of its ongoing commitment to supporting parks, Apple also empowers its employees to give back through dedicated volunteer events.
“We are thankful for Apple’s continued support and celebration of our national parks through its Apple Pay Campaign,” said Dawn Rodney, chief external affairs officer, National Park Foundation. “When we partner with like-minded organizations, we can work toward a future where our national parks are enjoyed by all – today, tomorrow, and forever.”
