Ray Romano joins cast of Apple TV+’s ‘Project Artemis’

Director Greg Berlanti has tapped Ray Romano to join the cast of “Project Artemis,” the Apple Original Films production that stars Scarlett Johansson, Channing Tatum and Jim Rash, reports Deadline.

The Emmy-winner takes the role after recently setting at Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions his feature directorial debut “Somewhere in Queens” after a Tribeca premiere earlier this year. He’ll also star in the Jim Valvano biopic, and will join the sitcom, “Bupkis,” notes Deadline.

About ‘Project Artemis’

Plot details are being kept secret, but the film is set against the space race. The screenplay comes from Rose Gilroy, daughter of writer-director Dan Gilroy and actress René Russo.

Two-time Oscar nominee Johansson will produce with Jonathan Lia and Keenan Flynn through their These Pictures production company, which commissioned and developed the script.
