° From MacRumors: It’s been nine days since Apple released iOS 16 to the public, bringing major changes to the Lock Screen, Messages, Maps, and more. In the days following the release, some users have encountered several issues on their iPhones, ranging from slow system performance to battery drain.

° From AppleInsider: Apple’s Siren and Depth apps for the Apple Watch Ultra have launched ahead of the Watch’s shipping on September 23.

° From 9to5Mac: A YouTuber has put the Crash Detection feature of the iPhone 14 line-up to the test.

° From Macworld: Accessories maker Logitech appears to have accidentally revealed the existence of two as-yet unannounced new iPad Pro models.

° From Cult of Mac: Ted Lasso‘s AFC Richmond will be fully integrated into Electronic Arts’ FIFA 23 when it kicks off later in September. Lasso, Coach Beard and the biggest stars of the hit Apple TV+ show have all been digitized.

° From iMore: Apple TV+ has released a behind-the-scenes look at “Life By Ella,” a kids and family series.

° From MacVoices Live!: Josh Centers has published “Take Control of iOS 16 and iPadOS 16” for Take Control Books.” On the new episode he talks about some of the new features that are amount his, and he talks about lock screen customization, focus modes, and more. Josh also explains why this version of his iOS books contains a Basics section by popular demand.
