‘Carpool Karaoke: The Series’ renewed for season five, moving to Apple TV+

“Carpool Karaoke: The Series” has been renewed for a fifth season and will move from Apple Music to Apple TV+, reports Deadline.

About ‘Carpool Karaoke’

The reality program is an offshoot of the viral segment on CBS’ “The Late Late Show With James Corden.” Apple Music landed the project in a bidding situation in 2016, ahead of the formation of Apple’s Worldwide Video Programming division and the launch of Apple TV+ in November 2019. The existing four seasons of “Carpool Karaoke: The Series” remain available on the Apple TV app and Apple Music.

Apple won two Creative Arts Emmys for “Carpool Karaoke” in 2019, including one for short form variety series. The Creative Arts Emmys are a class of Emmy Awards presented in recognition of technical and other similar achievements in American TV programming.
