Oops. Yesterday it was announced that Apple had told retail staff in the U.S. and Europe that it would bring back at least some in-person “Today at Apple” classes beginning August 30. But now Apple has changed its mind.

“Due to local conditions, we will continue to pause in-store Today at Apple sessions,” Apple told staff, reports Bloomberg. “We are excited to welcome customers back in store for Today at Apple when the time is right, and will share a new date for resuming sessions as soon as we can.”

What’s more, Apple has informed staff participating in the company’s at-home testing program with Quest Diagnostics Inc. that they will now receive testing kits twice per week instead of weekly. The tech giant told employees in the program that they are expected to get tested on Mondays and Thursdays.

The company is also planning to expand testing to three times per week for employees in some offices. Bloomberg says that Apple still isn’t requiring employees to do the tests or receive vaccinations, but the push could help the company eventually secure a full return to the office.
