AKVIS (www.akvis.com) has released AKVIS Sketch Video 4.0, an update of the After Effects and Premiere Pro plugin for converting videos into animated cartoons. Version 4.0 offers the Esquisse style with a number of ready-to-use presets for popular video formats.

The Sketch Video plugin is a tool for creating unique animation effects. Just load a video file and select one of built-in presets. The program now offers three drawing styles: Classic, Artistic, and Esquisse. Version 4.0 also comes with a number of artists-designed presets for 4K, HD, and SD video formats.

On the Mac platform, AKVIS Sketch Video 4.0 requires macOS 10.7 or higher. There’s a plugin version only, compatible with After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Premiere Elements.

AKVIS Sketch Video Home (includes Classic style) sells for $ 69. The Pro version (with Classic, Artistic and Esquisse) is $99. One license key allows activating the software on two computers. A demo is available for download.

The 4.0 update is free for users who bought Sketch Video in the last 12 months. Users, whose license is older and isn’t valid for the new version, can get Sketch Video 4.0 for $14.95.
