The team at booq (www.booqbags.com) has released a new backpack built for designers on the go: the $295 Pack Pro.

“Because the original Cobra pack was a favorite among Booq fans, we wanted to evolve the design to include several key upgrades such as a larger, industrial plastic coil zipper, interior mesh pockets for added storage options, simplified straps for easy carrying and a redesigned front panel to better hold the pack’s shape and give a boxier, rigid look,” says Kema Subsomboon, lead product designer at booq. “The result is a more refined Pack Pro that gives Booq fans, who often travel for business, a comfortable solution for carrying their gear while maintaining the features they loved from the original Cobra pack.”

The Pack Pro’s 1680 denier ballistic nylon exterior with water-repellent coating and YKK high-performance zippers keep items safe from the elements outside. The backpack features a lightweight, rigid frame and a protective laptop compartment with a water-resistant zipper to keep a 16.4-inch laptop up to 16.4 inches safe while traveling.

Two zippered, mesh side pockets provide quick access to a water bottle or umbrella, while a hidden back pocket keeps an iPad, passport, tickets and important items secure. The Pack Pro boasts breathable back padding and an ergonomically designed shoulder strap. Its interior features a genuine nylon twill with leather trims and intelligent padded compartments to protect gear from every day wear and tear.

The main compartment features two open pockets and a slip pocket that offers access to a favorite magazine during a long flight, while a second zippered back pocket keeps other valuables safe and easily accessible. Every Pack Pro has a five-year warranty and unique Terralinq serial number, a service provided by booq designed to help owners recover lost bags.
