VMWare has launched VMFusion 8.5 and VMFusion 8.5 Pro and there’s a two-day sale underway (http://tinyurl.com/zoja2oa) that let’s you save 15% or more.

VMware Fusion Pro and VMware Fusion let you choose among hundreds of operating systems, from lesser-known Linux distributions to the latest Windows 10 release. Fusion securely connects with vSphere, ESXi and Fusion servers to launch, control and manage both virtual machines and physical hosts. Thanks to a common VMware platform, you can transfer virtual machines to and from your Mac.

You can keep Windows and Mac OS X securely apart, or integrate them as one experience. You can install a fresh OS like Windows 10 or easily convert an older PC into a virtual one.

Fusion also makes it simple to test almost any OS and application on a Mac. You can build a new app, build the supporting cloud servers, and test the end-to-end process right on a laptop.

Support for Windows 10 Anniversary Edition and Windows Server 2016 will be built-in to VMware Fusion 8.5, Fusion 8.5 Pro, VMware Workstation 12.5 Player and Workstation 12.5 Pro to run Windows 10 on Macs or multiple Windows 10 systems side-by-side on Windows or Linux PCs. Additionally, macOS Sierra will be supported across the entire Fusion portfolio, taking advantage of new features such as Siri integration and tabbed VM windows. These updates enable the solutions to provide a safe testing environment that can help eliminate issues with OS migration, application compatibility and system performance prior to full production deployment.

VMware will also be offering an 18-month version of Fusion or Workstation to all registered attendees at VMworld 2016 U.S.
