The software lets users print documents straight from their iPhone, iPad, iPod touch onto any type of printer, utilize helpful print preview options, and print a wide assortment of document types. However, Air Printer-Print to Any Printer for Mac, which just requires a Mac, a printer (any model and any brand) and a local network with Bonjour pass-though allows you to print wirelessly from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to any type of printer, AirPrint or non-AirPrint printer.

The latest version (1.9) of Air Printer lets users edit printer properties, such as color, number of sides, quality and paper sizes, and economize printing costs. Users can easily print directly from native iOS apps, emails and attachments, iWork, Google Drive, Dropbox and MS Office documents, web pages from Safari and more. Air Printer also features Output to PDF with Build-in PDF Creator that ensures users can convert their documents into PDF format to print and share.

While the paid version of the app allows users to get access to all printing features of the app, the lite version of Air Printer limits users in printing only two pages documents in black & white quality for free.
