Andrew Kaz, a veteran Apple software developer, has released a new web browser called “Internet.” He says it’s a new kind of web browser, unique and unlike anything that has ever come before.”

It introduces a search-based interface in which Search is the Interface. Search results are merged completely with tabs. “Internet” stands for the ideal of Information for this new Information Age, “researching, learning, reading from the vast library that is now the Internet,” says Katz.

It’s available at the Mac App Store (http://tinyurl.com/jmtzy2q) for $4.99. Internet requires Mac OS X 10.10 or higher.
