Feral Interactive says Thief is out now for the Mac via Steam, with the Mac App Store version set to arrive in December. Developed by Eidos-Montréal and published by Square Enix for consoles and PC, Thief is the first game in this series to ever come to the Mac.

In Thief, players are challenged to combine stealth, gadgetry and exploration as Garrett, a Master Thief with mysterious skills that make him the most wanted man in a forsaken city. Players will pick locks, crack safes and solve cunning mechanical puzzles to pocket rare treasures, all while keeping clear of The City’s ever-vigilant guards.

Thief: Master Thief Edition retails on Steam for US$32.99. Thief: Shadow Edition will retail on the Mac App Store for $34.99. A minisite dedicated to the game is available now at http://tinyurl.com/pywbwnt.

Minimum system requirements call for a 1.8Ghz Intel Mac with at least 4.0GB RAM, 1GB or better graphics card, and Mac OS 10.10.5 or later. The game supports AMD 5000 series, NVIDIA 600 series, and Intel Iris Pro series graphics cards or better.
