Crosscoded has announced Aura 1.2.0, an update to the Mac app for Gmail. Aura is the “missing link” between a web app and a native client for Gmail users, with support for up to six accounts, global hotkeys, native notifications, selective notifications for important messages and per-account unread message counts in your menubar.

Version 1.2.0 adds support for Mac OS X El Capitan. It also now gives users global hotkeys for creating new e-mails, open e-mail links in your default e-mail account and more.

Aura 1.2.0 requires Mac OS X Yosemite or El Capitan. It’s free (but does offer in-app purchases) and is and available at the Mac App Store (http://tinyurl.com/pq37d69) in the Productivity category.
