DssW has released release of Power Manager 4.5 for OS X. This release adds new triggers, Schedule Assistant tasks, and numerous refinements.

Power Manager is an energy saving solution for Mac OS X. It enables users to create sophisticated energy saving schedules and to automate complex tasks. Version 4.5 adds new Schedule Assistant tasks that help users attach AppleScripts, Automator workflows, and shell scripts to computer-wide triggers. The triggers include logging in and out.

A new sleep trigger is now available through the event editor. The sun trigger has been extended to include an optional offset time. This time allows the creation of triggers at times relative to the astronomical event; such as half an hour before sunset or ten minutes after dusk.

A 30-day demo of Power Manager for Mac OS X 10.7 and higher is available for download (http://tinyurl.com/q5f3dkn). Registration is US$49.95.
