321Soft has released EasySplitMerge 2.0.2, an update to its file splitter and merger for Mac.

EasySplitMerge enables you to split any files regardless of size or type into smaller chunks, then join them together to recreate the original file so that you can move them between systems or email them. Version 2.0.2 adds “self-uniting functionality’ to the spanned set, When EasySplitMerge splits your file into pieces, it can also make a small self-uniting program.

This small program is able to join the piece files together in order to restore the original file. If you want to rejoin the pieces later without this software, you just mark the checkbox for “Add Self-Joining Functionality to the split files set”.

EasySplitMerge costs US$19.95 for a single-user license. It requires Mac OS X 10.7 or higher. For version 2.0.2 users the upgrade is free. A fully-featured trial of EasySplitMerge is available for download at the product website (http://tinyurl.com/ovtkajc) .
