Hon Hai reportedly cancels workers’ November holiday for the iPhone 6C launch

Hon Hai will cancel leave of employees at its plant in Zhengzhou, China, in November, for the launch of Apple’s iPhone 6C, cnYES, a Chinese publication, reports (as noted by BrightWire.com, a global investment newswire).

Hon Hai Precision, trading as Foxconn Technology Group, is a Taiwanese multinational electronics contract manufacturing company. It’s headquartered in Tucheng, New Taipei, Taiwan. Quanta Computer is a Taiwan-based manufacturer of electronic and computer equipment.

cnYES says Hon Hai has recruited 100,000 workers to assemble the iPhone 6S/ 6S Plus at the Zhengzhou plant. According to the report, the company has started another round of recruiting as of Aug. 3 for the “iPhone 6C,” an Apple smartphone with a four-inch display.
