AKVIS Enhancer for Mac OS X updated to version 15

AKVIS has released AKVIS Enhancer 15 for Mac OS X and Windows. The tool offers a method to fix dark pictures, increase contrast and brightness, adjust tones. The new version provides superior image processing for Improve Detail mode and other changes.

AKVIS Enhancer is image enhancement software that operates in three modes: Improve Detail, Prepress, and Tone Correction. It detects detail in underexposed, overexposed and mid tone areas of a photo with uneven exposure. It offers an individual approach to every part of the image. Version 15 brings new functionality, significant improvements and optimizations.

Existing Enhancer users may check which versions they can update to for free in their account in the Customer Room at www.akvis.com. Users, whose license is not valid for 15, can get the latest version for US$14.95. New users can evaluate all features of the product during the trial period without registration.

The software runs on Mac OS X 10.6 and higher. It’s available as a standalone application and as a Photoshop plugin filter.
