Fast-casual restaurant Pei Wei now offers diners access to Apple Pay. The restaurant, known for its made-to-order, Asian-inspired menu, now accepts Apple’s mobile payment system in all of its nearly 200 locations for customers using iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and Apple Watch.

“Accepting Apple Pay is a win for Pei Wei because it’s convenient and gives our guests the flexibility to use their preferred method of payment,” says Pei Wei CEO Ralph Bower. “It allows us to safely and quickly process transactions, increasing both customer service and restaurant efficiency. This is just one way we’re implementing the latest technology to improve the dining experience.”

Pei Wei launched Apple Pay acceptance as a pilot in its 16 Phoenix area restaurants in July. The technology became available at all of Pei Wei registers nationwide on Aug. 4. This follows the company’s large technology investment in the implementation of new payment terminals, pin pad devices and point-to-point encryption.

To use Apple Pay, simply hold your iPhone near the contactless reader while keeping a finger on Touch ID, or, when using Apple Watch, just double-click the side button and hold the face up to the contactless reader. A vibration and beep let you know the payment was accepted and verified.
