Adobe has announced the availability of Lightroom 5.7, Adobe Camera Raw 8.7 and DNG Converter 8.7 as final releases on Adobe.com and through the update mechanism in Photoshop CC and Photoshop CS6.

This release corrects issues reported in earlier versions of Lightroom 5 and Camera Raw 8.  In addition, raw file format support is added for 24 new cameras including the Canon EOS 7D Mark II, Nikon D750, and Sony ILCE-5100. Specifically for Lightroom 5.7, new features include an importer tool for customers migrating from Aperture and iPhoto, as well as the ability to view comments and feedback from shared collections on Lightroom web.

Lightroom is a digital photography workflow solution that helps amateur and professional photographers import, manage, enhance and showcase all their images within one application. The Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in provides access to raw image formats produced by many leading digital cameras.

Lightroom 5.7 is available as a free update for Lightroom 5 customers.  Camera Raw 8.7 is available as a free update for both Photoshop CC and Photoshop CS6*. Note that Camera Raw 8.6 for CS6 only includes updated camera and lens profile support.
