Kensington (http://www.kensington.com) has introduced a new family of “ultra-thin” keyboard cases for the iPad Air. The new products are highlighted by the US$99.99 KeyFolio Thin X3 (pictured) for iPad Air which introduces a feature never before seen in the market: PowerLift technology.

PowerLift enables the user to draw power from their keyboard case to charge their smartphone. With the case, form-fitting, hard-shell exterior surrounds the tablet in protection while maintaining its thin profile.

When the KeyFolio Thin X3 is opened, it reveals an integrated Bluetooth keyboard that features 6 rows of high-performance scissor keys, including a row of dedicated shortcut keys, allowing you to be more productive using fewer keystrokes. The QuickFold design allows you to hide the keyboard beneath the iPad Air so you can quickly transition from typing mode to viewing mode. The KeySense Power Channel automatically turns the keyboard on and off when it’s engaged or disengaged from the magnetic stand, helping conserve battery life.

The Kensington KeyFolio Thin X3 is a great companion for the iPad Air.
