Shenandoah Studio has announced Desert Fox: The Battle of El Alamein. It’s an US$9.99 WWII turn-based strategy game. Players take control at the turning point of the battle for North Africa; battle across a grand campaign, making key decisions and controlling the final engagement.

AppGeneration has released Ynews. With the $0.99 app you can browse more than 5000 online newspapers in 80 countries. Ynews also allows you to read the news on your native language without needing to leave the app.

iRead Solutions has introduced VisuSurfer for iOS. The $1.99 app lets you automatically browse web addresses from printed text in magazines, posters, business cards, signs, flyers, newspapers.

Cartoon Network Games has unleashed SleepNinja Games’ original title, Monsters Ate My Birthday Cake. The $4.99 game game is crammed full of “monsters, cake, amazing powers, puzzly bits, epic adventure, witty repartee, secret paths, unlockable characters, silly hats and a wiener dog.”

DeNA has launched Go Go Ghost. It’s a free, mission-based, side-scrolling runner mobile game.
