At this week’s Cine Gear conference (http://www.cinegearexpo.com/83/) in Los Angeles, G-Technology (www.g-technology.com) is demonstrating new storage solutions for audio/video production, photography, and the creative professional market — including the new G-RAID with removable drives, the Studio Line (G-Speed Studio and G-RAID Studio) and Evolution Series with the new G-Drive ev-220 external storage module.

The US$349.99, 2TB G-DRIVE ev 220 is a USB 3.0 hard drive with transfer rates up to 220MB/s. You can use it alone or with the Evolution Series G-DOCK.

The G-RAID with Removable Drives (pictured) is a removable dual-drive storage system with transfer rates of up to 330MB/. The G-RAID is configurable in RAID 0, RAID 1, or JBOD, and features USB 3.0, eSATA, along with FireWire. The G-RAID ships with two removable 7,200RPM hard drives, complete in an all-aluminum enclosure. Pricing starts at US$449.95 for a 4TB model.

In addition to showcasing the G-RAID Studio, G-Technology is also highlighting the G-SPEED Studio, a hardware RAID 4-Bay Thunderbolt 2 storage solution. Configurable in RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10, the G-SPEED Studio features Thunderbolt 2 technology for ultimate speed.
