A new personal cloud service provided by WiSeKey, in cooperation with Swisscom, is now available for Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android users. It lets you encrypt and store personal data on private clouds in Switzerland.

You can register at http://wiseid.com/ and download the software that lets you use the service. You can try the service for 30 days free.

WiSeKey says it’s the first e-security company in the world to offer decentralized Trust Models and PKI architecture, allowing data ecosystems to be federated via digital identity that makes users interact while maintaining control of their personal data.

The WiSeKey cloud syncs data between devices. The data that you save always stays under users control, is encrypted with strong keys derived from a password that users choose and only the users know, and is never communicated to third parties, according to WiSeKey.
