TeoreX has released a new version (5.5) of Inpaint, a Mac OS X compatible photo retouching application with a choice of tools for removal of unwanted objects from pictures.

Version 5.5 extends the software’s toolbox by adding tools to make retouching even easier. The improved mask option allows to select unwanted objects on the image and save the mask for later use with other pictures in a row.

Precise selection has also become easier. Holding Shift a user can draw straight lines with the marker tool, while the size of the marker itself can now be changed with keyboard shortcuts. Other interface improvements are designed to save users’ efforts, and the X2 Inpaint algorithm boost and the support for 64-bit systems deposits to better performance of the program.

The price for a single license of Inpaint is US$19.99. For more info go to http://www.theinpaint.com/ .
