EMSI SOFT OOD has announced AltiChord 1.9, an update to their chord reference application for Mac OS X.

Designed for musicians at different skill levels, AltiChord generates chord charts for stringed instruments such as the guitar, bass, ukulele, mandolin or bouzouki. The application shows shapes for many chords simultaneously and can transpose them. AltiChord doesn’t rely on chord databases and can serve as a chord reference for instruments in nonstandard or custom tuning.

AltiChord requires Mac OS X Lion (10.7) or later and costs US$19.99. It’s available worldwide through the Mac App Store in the Music category (http://tinyurl.com/pgblfq6).
