Kool Tools: My Files for OS X

My Files.jpg

If you have lots of files in the cloud, My Files can make your life easier. It’s an open cloud client that allows you to manage 25GB (or more) of free storage from Dropbox, Sugarsync, SkyDrive, Google Drive and Box — all in one client.

There are many cloud tools out there, but the advantage of My Files is that it combines management for five cloud providers in one app. What’s more, the utility once cost US$1.99; now it’s offered for free.

Unfortunately, My Files doesn’t let you manage iCloud files. Plus, you can’t drag and drop files from your computer onto the various cloud storage accounts (though there is a built-in file uploader). That said, it works great with the cloud providers it supports.

My Files works with Mac OS X 10.8 or higher. It’s a 3.5MB download; you can obtain it at the Mac App Store (http://tinyurl.com/paj3rln).
