UNIEA (www.uniea.com) has unveiled a new set of cases for the iPad mini. The Colorama Folio Case (top photo) is a scaled down version of the larger Colorama case that debuted with the new iPad in the spring.

It combines PU leather and high-impact color options. The US$39.95 Colorama’s folio cover folds up into two different angles for video viewing and reading/typing, while a microfiber inner lining won’t scratch your iPad’s surface. It also sports a pressed hexagon pattern on its sides, which is designed to give a comfortable, stylish texture.

The $44.95 Soft Suit Folio for iPad mini picks up on the same theme of colored leather and offers six deluxe colored leather panels. It’s an “up market” iPad mini case featuring a PU leather construction material wrapped around a plastic core designed to add stability and protection.

Custom name card slots offer a feature that complements the iPad mini, while the right side of the case where the tablet is inserted offers a durable rubberized finishing. The interior is lined with a scratch-free premium PU leather, and the flip-open folio protects the iPad mini when it’s not in use and offers two standing angles for viewing and typing.
