Here are the latest Apple rumors from the blogosphere:

Sources tell AllThingsD that Apple has indeed had talks with a few large cable operators about some new TV product. It makes sense that one of them might be doing its due diligence on capacity issues and whatnot. But the idea that a ‘potentially … imminent’ launch is in the works seems harder to take seriously.” — “AllThingsD” (allthingsd.com)

“Google has distributed a test version of its new mapping app that will work on Apple’s iPhones to some individuals outside the company, said a person with direct knowledge of the matter. Google has been putting the finishing touches on the app before submitting it for approval to the Apple iTunes store, this person said, though it’s unclear exactly when that will happen.” — “Wall Street Journal” (online.wsj.com)

“Aaron Sorkin’s Steve Jobs film will be a play in three scenes” — “Fortune” (tech.fortune.com)
