Use your wealth to unlock defenses and out of this world power-ups such as UFOs and mind-control abilities.
MindApps has released The Mindfulness App II (v.1.0), the sequel to the meditation app. The US$1.99 app allows users to “meditate anytime, anywhere: on the bus on the way to work, in bed at night or when they go for a walk.”
Lexington Creative has introduced ADHD Organizer 1.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch. The $1.99 app is designed to help people with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) to better organize their lives. Users set goals and then track their ongoing progress in achieving them. They can also record any failings and thereby discover areas of their behavior that need improvement.
No Tie Software has unveiled Class Warfare 1.0 for iOS. The $0.99 app is a combination first person shooter, Whack-A-Mole, and augmented reality.
Xyrality has launched Celtic Tribes. In the free game players step into shoes of a ribal chief and take the fate of their Celtic village in their own hands. Buildings will be constructed, warriors recruited and resources traded, so that a small village can flourish.
05Bit has debuted One Photo 1.0. The free app turns your iDevice “into an old-fashioned leather wallet spread with a sole portrait of your dearest and nearest ones.” At the start you can select a photo from an album or make a snapshot the same moment and apply the stylization for the classic look.
Full Control has unleashed Frontline Tactics. Although the free game touts a strong single-player option, what distinguishes Frontline Tactics is its ability to let gamers play against each other in two different multiplayer modes, regardless of which version they’re playing. So, players can be playing on their iPad/iPhone/iPod touch against others who may be playing on their Windows laptop or Mac.
iBomber Attack is a new, $2.99 game in which you blast your way across 24 war zones, naval ports, and military-controlled towns, collecting spoils on your tour of duty to upgrade and kit out your tank for even greater conflicts.
Awesome App Lab has rolled out a free version of Signature Scanner Pro — Security Prank. The app denies anyone access to your iDevice — and snaps their photo.
iStormApps has presented Doku 1.0. The $0.99 app includes features such as Doku duel in which users play against each other in a time-race. Players may even use weapons against each other.
Nevosoft has produced Musketeers: Constance’s Adventure 1.0. The $2.99 game recreates the atmosphere of the 17th century with impersonations, secret meetings and royal gossip. When a secret letter about the concord of France and Spain is stolen, Constance, Her Majesty’s young and faithful servant, must find out who is conspiring against the Royal Family. Players find hidden evidence, solve puzzles and master the art of disguise to save the Queen’s reputation and prevent international strife.
Monster Robot Studios has created Galaxy Cat. In the $0.99 game, players help Galaxy Cat rescue the lost collectos. Players use touch and drag controls to create a flight path, then when the time is right send Galaxy Cat soaring through the stars.
