Centuple Games has announced Super Smart for iOS devices. It’s an US$0.99 contemporary take on quiz games that introduces dynamics of modern gameplay to the traditional genre. All the questions are shorter than 40 characters; the app includes modern gameplay elements like reward systems based on speed and accuracy and various power-ups to boost performance.

AppCycles has released StoryFrame — Picture Frame FX 1.0 for iOS. The $0.99 app is designed to help you create unique compositions by selecting an original theme and frame layout that can be shared with friends and family via email, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr or Instagram. Or just send it as a real postcard. You can choose between 76 customizable layouts and seven themes. You can apply multiple photo FX filters, adjust brightness, contrast, hue and color saturation to individual photos and more.

Raul Rea has introduced Walker 1.0 for iOS. The $1.99 app is designed to increase efficiency and inbox processing. Users are guided through options for actionable and non-actionable tasks including: do tasks within a timed two minutes, email and file tasks in a waiting list, add tasks to the calendar, or send them to a next actions list.

Sandcrater Software has unveiled MiniECal 1.0. It’s a $1.99 Microsoft Exchange calendar assistant that allows users to view the calendars of other users on the same system. The app allows a user to view another person’s calendar in a list view for a configurable number of days in advance or for a specified date range. Additionally, MiniECal will allow the user to specify an ad-hoc “group” of users whose calendars can be retrieved all at once.

Wombi Apps has launched Wombi Toys 1.0. In this $2.99 app, children get the chance to build, test and repair 20 different toys. The content ranges from retro dolls to modern video games, and each toy requires its own special solution.

Auryn has brought Tilly Witch, the Halloween children’s book by Don Freeman to life in a $0.99 interactive storybook app. This book is a journey of a witch who forgets how to be mean and returns to finishing school for witches to re-learn the trickery of the trade. Interactivity allows kids to personalize the sentence and sharpen their vocabulary skills.
