Mac OS X software updates for Oct. 11

Here are the latest updates for Mac OS X apps:

Boinx Software (www.boinx.com) has announced version 4.0 of FotoMagico, the slideshow creation tool for Mac OS X. The upgrade adds a new multiple Layers feature and Timeline visual and audio elements.

Unmarked Software (www.unmarked.com) has announces TextSoap 7.3.4, an update to its text processing and editing utility for OS X. It’s a maintenance release designed to address several key issues reported by customers.

Smile (www.smilesoftware.com) has released TextExpander 4.0.2, an update to its typing shortcut tool. The update improves optional fill-in section behavior, along with other improvements and fixes.

Apple has revved its Apple Configurator mass-imaging and control software to version 1.2. It adds support for iOS 6 features on supervised devices.

The new ConceptDraw Dashboard for Facebook solution for ConceptDraw Pro 9 (www.conceptdraw.com) gives organizations a new social media analysis tool that facilitates trend discovery and communication of results to their marketing, management, and stakeholder team members.

Troi Automatisering (www.troi.com) has rolled out Troi URL Plug-in 3.0 for FileMaker Pro 12. It adds “PUT” and “DELETE” methods for interacting with web servers.

Qoppa Software has rolled out new versions of all of their Java PDF library products (www.qoppa.com/solutions/javapdf.html). Qoppa’s Java PDF class libraries are enhanced with a new algorithm for text extraction.  

Sprightly Software (www.sprightly.ca) has given us Participants 1.1, a new version of the record attendance software. The upgrade offers improved print handling and adds the ability to print an attendance history for one person.
